Vinha do Altar Reserva branco

If there’s something we can say in total confidence, it’s that the simple fact that Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges (from Wine & Soul) being responsible for this wine is, in itself, a guarantee that you’ll be tasting an incredible wine.

This says a lot about the couple who started their adventure with only one older vineyard, an old storehouse transformed into a cellar and a never-ending love for wine.

And there’s another thing that makes them stand out: they don’t know how to (or can) make bad wine. They just can’t!

They say Wine & Soul symbolizes precisely that – a project to which they dedicate body, heart and soul to so they can create wines with strong personal touches and involvement, translating their lives back and forth.

This Vinha do Altar Reserva Branco is further evidence that these two won’t detour their mission and the quality to which they commit themselves every time they produce a new wine.

This is why they always bet on smaller quantity productions that are higher in quality. Because of this, it’s really difficult to find these wines in stores.

This white wine is balanced and an excellent choice for Summer’s long lunches.
Chilled and ready to invade us with freshness so strong it spreads through your whole body. A wine for Summer, most definitely.

As for its nose, it has an indescribable smoothness. It’s like a constant reminder of the producer’s strong character but, above all else, of the incredible fruit from the Douro region.

Vineyards living 600 metres above sea level can produce small wonders. And this is genuinely a small wonder.

But now it’s your turn to confirm that we’re not exaggerating or pulling your leg.

Leave it in the refrigerator from one day to the next and prepare a frappe to hold it in for serving. It’ll be magic with grilled fish or the magnificent and delicious recipe you’ll find on the other side of the card.
