Impecável

Carlos Raposo is the oenologist and producer of this Impecável (Impeccable). Both come from the Dão region, where Carlos returned to produce his Imperfect Wines (Vinhos Imperfeitos)
He began studying oenology and viticulture when he was 16 years old at the Bairrada CVR and then travelled to France, more specifically to the universities of Burgundy and Bordeaux, to continue his academic training.
While studying, he worked at Château Smith Haut Lafitte and Château Malescot Saint Exupery in Margaux, then moved on to other realities such as Ribera del Duero (Spain), Robert Craig in Napa Valey (USA) and the Stuart Wines Company in Heathcote (Australia) to enrich his experience.
When he returned to Portugal in 2011, he started working with Dirk Niepoort at Quinta de Naples in the Douro region. For the following seven years, he expanded his geographical intervention area, which extended from the Dão to the Vinhos Verdes area (Minho).
Drinking from all the experience he gained, he launched his solo project in 2018 with the philosophy of respecting the product of nature and representing the purity it provides in each bottle.
