Herdade Barranco do Vale
13.00 €
The Herdade Barranco do Vale estate takes you on a journey to São Bartolomeu de Messines. We’re entering the house of the producer who lives in the northernmost region of the Algarve.
The estate is located in the heart of the Barlavento region (west Algarve) between the sea and the Monchique and Caldeirão mountains.
The estate covers approximately 100 hectares of immense natural beauty, where besides vineyards, you can find cork-oaks, olive trees, carob trees, pines and arbutus-berry trees.
Ana and Luís Chaves lived in Lisbon and, in 2015, decided to throw themselves into the estate which belonged to Ana’s parents and her grandparents before them.
Today, they are the estate’s producers. Every year, they write a letter to the grandfather who built the estate to tell him how things are going and what the more recent news is.
You can see that for yourself on the back label on the bottle you’ve received.
This makes each bottle a deep, heartfelt, and very emotional testimony to this family’s work.
The white wine before you will surprise you with its intense, fresh and involving flavours.
It’s ideal for pairing with seafood or fish dishes, but above all, for you to try the delicious recipe Chef Chakall has prepared (you’ll find it on the back of this card).
